Responsibilities of the job include: In-charge of full financial reporting - management and group reporting (including month-end closing, preparation of monthly financial & management reports, group consolidation, annual financial statements and etc), business performance review, periodic forecast and budgeting. Perform financial analysis to support management in decision making as well as process improvement recommendations. Responsible for cash flows monitoring and forecasts. Responsible for accurate and timely tax compliance and reporting requirements (including timely filing of tax returns and tax payments). Monitor day-to-day financial operations including providing support to Country Director, local team and management team. Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agent and external lawyers. Undertake financial management initiatives, strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning Support any other ad-hoc assignments as required Education And Experience Requirements: Three to five years of experience in a similar position; experience with operations preferred. Minimum 2nd class and upper for degree in accounting. With professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, ICAEW or CA will be preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. IT savvy - advance proficiency in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel & Words with the ability to work with Lookups, Pivot Tables and graphs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good understanding of accounting standards and tax rulings. Self-motivated, team player, dynamic with mature personality and able to work under minimum supervision. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and able to cope with changes. Powered by JazzHR
