We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Controller. The successful candidate will be based in our Singapore office and will work closely with company leadership. Responsibilities: Lead and oversee day-to-day accounting and financial activities of the company - accounting, financial operations and FP&A. Within the company and through third party payroll vendors. Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with local standards and regulatory requirements. Responsible for finance-related strategies, initiatives and activities for company-wide financial accounting, auditing and reporting. Develop and implement best practices and tools to ensure the company has strong fiscal management, project coordination, cross-team communications, and workflows. Review consolidated financial statements and provide guidance to the team in all aspects of accounting and compliance Evaluate and continually improve accounting procedures, processes and systems to ensure efficient operations, accuracy of financial reporting, integrity of corporate data, finance governance compliance and the safeguarding of assets. Ensure compliance to local regulations, tax returns and statutory accounts. Work closely with other employees and service providers to ensure timely completion of annual audits. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field and internationally recognised professional certification is required. At least 5 years of working experience in a similar role Exceptional organisational and communication skills Demonstrated capacity to juggle multiple projects and priorities Acute attention to detail and accuracy Positive mindset and strong work ethic Competence to work both autonomously and collaboratively Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office, Google Docs) About The Company At Horizon Quantum Computing, we're developing tools to simplify and expedite the process of developing software for quantum computers, a fundamentally new form of computer that leverages quantum physics to process information more efficiently.
