Description:
Responsibilities: Translate marketing materials, including website content & omnichannel campaigns, from English to Mandarin and vice versa for deployment across various channels such as onsite, CRM, social media, etc. Adapt and localize messaging to resonate with Mandarin-speaking audiences in the Hong Kong and Taiwan markets across different channels, ensuring cultural relevance and linguistic accuracy. Collaborate with marketing teams to understand campaign objectives and target audience demographics, providing linguistic insights and recommendations for effective communication. Ensure consistency in brand voice, messaging, and terminology across all translated materials, maintaining brand integrity and coherence across different channels. Assist in the creation and translation of multimedia content, such as videos and graphics, for use in marketing campaigns across multiple channels. Work closely with CRM teams to translate customer communications, including emails, newsletters, and notifications, ensuring clarity and effectiveness in Mandarin. Stay updated on industry trends, language usage, and cultural preferences in both Hong Kong and Taiwan markets to inform translation strategies and enhance campaign effectiveness across various channels. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, content creators, and digital marketers, to ensure seamless integration of translated content into overall campaign strategies and executions. Be involved in the conceptualization and execution of weekly onsite campaigns based on major events, trends/themes, seasonality, merchandise mix. Collaborate and coordinate across multiple teams and departments Ensure smooth and timely execution of campaigns Requirements: Sufficient in Chinese language that is able to translate for HK & TW. Proven record in copy translation (provide a portfolio as proof). Open for fresh graduate or with 1-2 years of job experience. Able to think strategically in business context, with excellent communication skills and ability to work under tight deadlines. Proofreading skills: Skills in proofreading and editing translations to ensure quality and coherence. Any e-commerce/campaign planning experience will be prioritized.
