Job Responsibilities: Collaborate within a data engineering team, offering guidance, mentorship, and assistance. Work with data scientists and analysts to understand their data requirements and develop suitable solutions. Design, construct, and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines to support business needs. Ensure data accuracy and quality through the implementation of validation and testing procedures. Participate in code reviews to enhance code quality and adherence to best practices. Coordinate with DevOps to deploy and manage data solutions effectively. Stay updated on data engineering trends and best practices, suggesting improvements for the data platform. Develop and manage a data engineering roadmap to align with company goals. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 4 to 8 years of data engineering experience, emphasizing large-scale data platforms and products Proficiency in GCP/ AWS cloud data platform Proficiency in big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Hive, DBT, airflow, looker Strong programming skills in Scala or Python.
