Primary Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and coach a team of engineers responsible for end user device management in the APAC region. Inspire and motivate team members to achieve excellence, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth Manage the Windows operating system environment for end user devices, ensuring proper configuration, optimization, and security. Develop and enforce standards for Windows image management, deployment, and lifecycle management. Plan, prepare and execute major operating system upgrades, e.g. Win10 to Win11 Migration. Oversee the distribution and deployment of application software to end user devices, ensuring compatibility, reliability, and compliance with licensing agreements. Implement automation and orchestration tools to streamline application deployment processes. Develop and implement patch management strategies to ensure timely and effective patching of end user devices. Coordinate patching activities across diverse geographic locations and business units, minimizing disruption to end user productivity. Utilize your expertise in managing mobile devices to ensure seamless integration, security, and performance across diverse device ecosystems. Implement best practices for managing iOS devices, including configuration, profile management, conditional access management, application management, and security policies. Contribute to the migration from SCCM to Intune via Co-Management, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to end user productivity. Assist in the development of migration strategies, defining project timelines, and coordination with stakeholders to execute the migration effectively. Define and uphold standards of excellence in end user device management, ensuring that solutions meet or exceed quality benchmarks. Drive a culture of continuous improvement, fostering innovation and efficiency in processes and practices. Stakeholder Management: Engage and manage senior stakeholders and users, ensuring alignment of end user device management initiatives with organizational goals and objectives. Prepare technology papers and presentations to communicate key findings, recommendations, and project updates effectively. Work in partnership with the Team Leader around all aspects of service strategy, design, delivery, and operations in relation to managing end-user devices (i.e., modern device management, user experience and support). Own the delivery of strategic projects and/or tactical priorities Work in partnership with Service Desk and Asset Lifecycle Management Program to examine opportunities to rationalize device lifecycle activities (planning & procurement, logistics, provisioning, and maintenance). Contribute to the Global Windows 11 Migration, Lead the Win 11 Migration in APAC. Implement effective monitoring, incident management, problem management, metrics, and analytics to measure and continuously improve service reliability and user experiences. Own the accuracy and effectiveness of any associated knowledge base. Establish working relationship with key vendors (Microsoft, Lenovo) and internal partners (information security & protection, privacy, risk, technology, finance, procurement) essential for the execution of your primary roles and responsibilities. Establish yourself as a Trusted Advisor for all matters associated with modern device management, software distribution, asset lifecycle management and positive user experiences. Support all other End User Services teams around the delivery of word-class productivity and collaboration services to all users at Swift.  Skill & Experience: 10+ years’ experience of managing secure and large-scale (5,000+) Windows end user devices (laptops, PCs) and operating system, software distribution, compliance to security and access policies and standards. Expert knowledge of Modern Device Management strategies, methods, principles, technologies, and processes (e.g., zero touch deployments, zero trust principle, reducing toil, user self service) Expert knowledge and experience of Microsoft End Point Management platforms, including Microsoft Configuration Manager, Co-Management and Intune, including Autopilot for automated deployment and evaluating Endpoint Analytics to continuously improve services. Experienced in developing with PowerShell scripting to automate and reduce toil. Strong understanding of security principles and best practices related to end user device management, including encryption, authentication, and access control. Experience of working with security and privacy partners and managing security policy compliance across domains leveraging Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) security and compliance features (Entra ID is not managed by End User Devices), Good understanding of the M365 ecosystem including Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Exchange, and Active Directory. Experience in implementing and operationalizing end-point analytics and monitoring solutions to detect worsening reliability and proactively remediate issues prior to negative user experiences. Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of successfully leading and coaching engineering teams in a global environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare technology papers and presentations, and effectively engage with senior stakeholders and users. Proven ability to drive results and navigate complex technical and business challenges in a dynamic environment. Strong problem-solving, and analytical skills Additional Beneficial Skills & Experience A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other Information Technology related field. Experience of managing Apple devices (iPhone, iPads, Mac), iOS and macOS operating systems Industry certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Mobile Device Management Professional (CMDM). Familiarity with cultural nuances and business practices across the APAC region, including language proficiency in one or more regional languages. Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in end user computing, such as Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Desktop as a Service (DaaS), and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) initiatives.
