The Clinical Medical and Regulatory (CMR) department is a one of the key functions that enables the business strategy through effective execution of functional goals, in the areas of Clinical Research, Medical Affairs and Regulatory. This full-time permanent position would be based at Penang, North of Malaysia, focusing in therapeutic areas (TAs) which NN is active in. The position This position reports to the Medical Scientific Liaison Manager. In this role, you will be focusing on primarily field-based duties. The main scope of accountabilities includes, but is not limited to: Sharing up-to-date medical knowledge and clinical trial data with internal and external stakeholders. Leverage scientific and clinical expertise to create relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and other healthcare decisions makers. Performing and organizing medical insight generation is a key responsibility. Organizing and executing external educational programs and workshops and to guide the internal staff in understanding the scientific data for training purposes as needed. Apply and share knowledge, utilizing scientific and clinical expertise with internal and external stakeholders as a result of a comprehensive analysis of their needs, with the aim of improving overall patient outcomes. Extensive travel would be required within Malaysia as this is a field-based role. Qualifications A medical or pharmacy degree is preferable, but we are open to other relevant health sciences graduates as well. Minimum of 1 year of experience within the healthcare industry background, including hospitals, clinics, pharmaceutical, or clinical research organizations (CROs), is a must-have. Excellent networking capabilities and proven ability to develop and foster peer-to-peer, credible relationships with KOLs/decision makers. Displays business acumen/knowledge based on experiences such as participation in formulary process decisions. Has experience or possesses knowledge of working within the Malaysian Healthcare System and other guidelines relevant to the pharmaceutical industry. Fluent in written and spoken English. Good communication and presentation skills with keen attention to detail. Good at translating medical/scientific insights to business opportunities/implications.
