What role you will play in our team The Advanced Materials Engineer position shall be in the Asia-Pacific Materials Integrity Team which is part of the Materials Integrity department. The role is to provide engineering support to Capital Projects and Operations across all business lines. Location – Menara ExxonMobil , KL. What you will do Provide day-to-day engineering support for materials-related work Provides on-site field support during scheduled maintenance activities Provide materials specialist support for large capital projects and smaller regional projects to ensure technical quality Participates in programs aimed at improving unit reliability and optimizing maintenance Supports industry activities (MTI, API and NACE) where appropriate Trains/Mentors entry-level employees to support their career development About you Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Materials Engineering with at least 10 years experience in the oil & gas industry Demonstrated work experience and knowledge in the following areas : o Welding/fabrication and Inspection/Testing o Metallurgy and manufacture o Materials selection o Failure Analysis o Corrosion control Able and willing to travel to work sites and shop fabrication locations worldwide Your Benefits: We are committed to providing benefits that are competitive and support the needs of our employees.
